Dear Parents

So far this year we have limited our homework to spelling lists.  Now that we are all in the ‘swing of things’, your child will be given work sheets to take home each Monday to be completed and handed in by Friday.  If you have any questions regarding your child’s homework, please see me.

Welcome back to all of our students in Grade 1/2.  

Parents and students can use this Blog site to learn about what will be taught during each term.  The page titled: ‘Term 1 Curriculum’ will tell you in detail what the students will be doing each week for the rest of this term.  The page titled ‘Our Work’ will show case some of the writing acheivements of our students, during the year.  As we have just begun our writing program, it is blank, however soon it will have some exciting stories that your children have written.  Watch this page as your child’s work may be displayed.

This is an exciting year at Montmorency Primary.  Our new commercial kitchen has been built and our garden is flourishing with vegetables.  Children are also enjoying the Science Program with Bill Henderson.
